Our Mini Moon: Montreal

Why hello there! Guess what? I am officially a married woman! On October 14th, we were pronounced husband and wife. My husband and I cannot be more happy and excited. We had a beautiful wedding day (more on that another time; perhaps once we have the photos and our wedding video). I cannot wait to share our special day with you all!

With my husband’s busy schedule, and with my school being on strike (aka completely ruining when I graduate), Michael and I weren’t really able to plan a honeymoon just yet. We did want to get away, so we planned a quick Mini Moon. We ventured off to Montreal for a couple of days the week after our wedding and we had a lovely, relaxing time. Montreal is such a beautiful city so it was really fun to escape to and just explore on our own terms!

My favorite part of Montreal has got to be the Old Port. It’s like having a piece of Europe as you walk the Canadian streets. The architecture is absolutely breathtaking and every single coffee shop and restaurant is just adorable. Most of our trip consisted of a lot of exploring. We mainly walked the streets, ate (a lot), shopped (more than ate), and relaxed. It was an incredible way to start off our marriage.

Have any of you been to Montreal before? I definitely want to go again so let me know in the comments where your favourite spots are!

xx. Cristina GRECO (yup. that’s my last name now)
