The Spring Beauty Edit: Products I’ve Recently Picked Up

I did it again: I let the “Just Arrived” section on Sephora’s website gets the best of me. I swear that page on their site is dangerous. I’m such a curious person and I feel like I need to try every single thing. It’s funny because I’m not someone who wears makeup often- I just feel like I need to try something new all the time. I thought I would share the products I found on Sephora, Tarte, and at the drugstore. Most of these products have been tested, others are still hanging out on my bedside table. Check out my video for my opinions on these products! Below are my top five finds.

Lilah B Bronzed Beauty (Sunkissed) | Oh.my.gosh. I live for this bronzer. What I love most about this bronzer is that it includes two shades, which is perfect for when your skin is tanned, a bit paler, or in between. You can swirl the colors together or wear them separately to get the perfect sunkissed look for you. The packaging also is the most luxurious packaging I’ve ever seen (but actually). First of all, it literally weighs like a rock, it’s so sleek, easy to travel with, and is the perfect touch for your vanity.

Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Concealer (Shade: 1N) | This concealer reminds me a lot of the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer, but I like it WAY better. It’s insanely creamy and feels very light on the skin. The applicator is incredibly flexible, which makes it really easy to get into the inner corner (which is something I really look for in concealers because my inner corners are the deepest purple color you would ever see).  This concealer claims that you don’t need to set it, but to be honest, I would set it lightly after blending it in very well just so you could avoid creasing. I think because it’s so creamy, it can definitely move around very easily. Besides that, it’s an amazing concealer that I DEFINITELY recommend you give a try.

Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara | This has quickly become my favorite mascara, hands down. It gives so much volume and length with literally one swipe! Beware: if you apply too many coats, it gets a little flaky and clumpy on the lashes. Not to worry, you don’t need that much product.

Farsali Rose Gold Elixir | This stuff really saved my skin towards the end of this Winter. I was a bit hesitant to pick this product up because I typically don’t like oils and it’s on the pricey side (which is why I bought the small one) but I have really been loving this product. It’s an impeccable base for foundation and really leaves your skin feeling very hydrated, and not oily. Oils tend to scare me a little bit because I have combination skin, and they just seem to make matters worse. This product has helped my skin during the dryer months feel more hydrated and has my foundation look more natural.

Shiseido Ultimune Eye Power Infusing Concentrate |This is definitely more on the pricey side, but I have to say that I really have noticed a difference in my under eyes since using this product. I have really dry under eyes, and my inner corners are SUPER purple so I was really in need of a hydration boost. This serum is very cooling, with a gel-like consistency, and feels super light under the eyes. A little goes a long way with this product, so make sure to not abuse it (especially with it being so expensive-you want to save up as much of it as you can).

Have you tried any of these products? Did you like them? Let me know in the comments. I have this love for trying out new beauty products and would love to hear your thoughts. ☺️
