What I Wore In Palm Beach

Hi loves! I’m so excited to share with you what I wore while I was in Palm Beach! I got a lot of love on my Instagram for some of these looks (thank you) so I thought I would share where I exactly got these pieces from! I’m writing this post in a coffee shop, with a warm oat milk mocha in hand, while it’s -30 outside, insanely regretting my decision to fly home to this miserable weather. Just a few weeks ago, I was laying by a pool. Ugh, can someone just pack me in their suitcase and bring me somewhere warm? K thanks.

Worth Ave

Palm Beach, Florida

My husband and I randomly decided to book our trip to Palm Beach, literally two weeks before. My family has a place there + some of them were in Florida at the time, so the timing was perfect. We were so excited to get away for a few days, and honestly… it was so needed. I really needed some sunshine in my life. You know the feeling when you’ve been bottled up in your house for days, and you just start going stir crazy? That was me. After our short but sweet trip, I felt super inspired and refreshed! I’m forever blessed to have a place that I can escape to, like Palm Beach, during times like these.

The second we got off the plane, I had to change into something a lot lighter than what I was wearing. I will gladly switch my parka for a bikini any day. We got in at around 12:30 pm so we didn’t relax by the pool at all, so I opted for a dress. This dress is from Lulus. I’ve been really into the printed mini dresses lately. There so adorable and so up my alley. I love the subtle detail that the flowers give with this mini dress specifically.

Our second day in Palm Beach was a bit on the chillier side (I mean when your going from -20 to 24 degrees celsius, do I even have the right to call it chilly?). The locals thought I was crazy for not wearing a jacket, might I add. Anyhow, this crop top is also from Lulus. Initially, what drew me to this top was that it was brown (random, I know). I was looking through my wardrobe, and realized that I don’t own anything brown. Not one thing. I love so many camel and brown looks, and I’ve always thought to myself, why don’t I buy anything in that colour family? And then I saw the sleeves on this top..wow the drama that the ruffle wide sleeve brings, is everything. It was love at first sight.

This day was dedicated to major window shopping. Like, legitimate window shopping… I couldn’t afford one thing on this strip. We went to Worth Ave, which is a very upscale shopping area in Palm Beach. I am definitely not bouge enough to be shopping there but so it was definitely an only look, no touch situation. I’ve always been super inspired by higher end designers, so I knew that visiting this strip would give me some major fashion inspo. This suit is from, once again, Lulus. Honestly, I knew with a tan that this bold red suit would look bomb. I absolutely love the bold colour! I wanted to make this outfit look super casual, and more on the athleisure side so I paired it with a pair of dad shoes from Fila. To finish off the look, I added a Chanel brooch to the mix. It was a nice feminine touch to the outfit. It was definitely a vibe I was living for.

Our last day was pretty chills. We did lots of cleaning, relaxing, and eating at some of our fave spots. Shake Shack anyone? I pretty much wore leggings all day, but I thought I would share my look, poolside edition. My bathing suit is from The Saltwater Collective, which is a sustainable bathing suit company that actually uses abandoned fishnets and plastic scraps to make their fabrics used for each suit! Their manufactured in Toronto (woohoo!), and their suits are bomb. They fit so well and are such great quality. I paired my suit with a stripped button up from Aritzia.

Guys, I’m so excited! Guess where I’m heading at the end of the month? LA! I went to California for my honeymoon last year, so this is my second time going to LA and I’m so excited! If you’ve ever been and have some recommendations, let me know in the comments! I’m down for some cute coffee shops and stores. Help a sister out! Talk soon!
